N2  - Two cases of acute arsine poisoning following inhalation in an industrial plant in Montreal are presented. The classical clinical picture, the autopsy findings and the results of toxicological studies are submitted and discussed. An account on the circumstances of the production of arsine in the industrial plant is given as well as its toxic effects. These cases, the first to happen in Quebec to our knowledge, are comparable to those presented in the literature.<p />
