N2  - The article deals with the diagnosis of and surgical tactics in cranio-facial injury. The authors substantiate the expediency of early operations for compression of the brain and early (within the first 5 days) final reposition and fixation of fragments in fractures of the jaws irrespective of the severity of the brain damage.
