N2  - Humankind has given itself the scientific name Homo sapiens (man the wise) because of our mental capacities are so important to our everyday lives and our sense of self. The requirement inspires to create new things. The basic machineries that makes our life simple and getting combined together to make the facilities for life more simple. This paper deals with the designing of the automatic guided vehicles enabled with artificial intelligence, to increase the efficiency and reduce time for searching any physical objects. The developed system prototype, a twin dc motor operated small vehicle has been interfaced with PC through standard USB port. Data from the vehicle is sent towards the PC through a transmission line using serial data transmission in the form of data stream. In software part, for searching the target as physical object, the image analysis of the object is accomplished using proposed near color value search method. The vehicle module is equipped with only one optical sensor i.e a standard web camera. This type of vehicle can be used in variety of application such as military spying, firefighting system, remote and autonomous exploration, home security etc.<p />
