TY - JOUR PY - 2013// TI - Spanking and child development: We know enough now to stop hitting our children JO - Child development perspectives A1 - Gershoff, Elizabeth Thompson SP - 133 EP - 137 VL - 7 IS - 3 N2 - Spanking remains a common, if controversial, childrearing practice in the United States. I conclude that spanking is a form of violence against children that should no longer be a part of American childrearing.
