N2  - Neurotic and psychotic signs after artificial abortion in 15 patients are described. In neuroses, the most characteristic symptoms are obsessions and paresthetic sensations in genital organs, signs are observed in other forms of neuroses. In psychoses, as regards suicide prevention, autoaccusation and hypochondric deliria are of particular importance. Disturbance of the mother's ties with other children was also noticed during the illness. Attention is drawn to characteristic postabortion symptoms. Despite the great specificity of clinical signs, these disturbances cannot be regarded as a separate nosological group. Prognosis is good where there is cooperation between gynecologist and ps ychiatrist.<p /> <p>Language: sk</p>
