N2  - This article presents results of physical and psychological tests on bus drivers to measure fatigue during driving, i.e. In real conditions on an interurban line, 41 km long. Blood pressure, pulse, reaction to sound and light stimuli and driver's concentration were tested. The first crew, consisting of two drivers, showed considerable signs of fatigue at the beginning of their driving, which manifested themselves in unstable pulse and arterial tension which returned to normal after some time. The same crew also reacted with significant lag of time to light and sound stimuli and their alertness weakened as the journey progressed towards its end. The other crew demonstrated fewer variations in all tested elements. The first crew had had a 7-hour pause before the trip, while the second one enjoyed a full day's pause. During driving no hazardous situations occurred.<p />
