N2  - Many different types of juvenile offender treatment programs have emerged during the past decade. One of the primary concerns among policy-makers and high-level administrators in juvenile justice is the cost-effectiveness and cost-benefits of juvenile treatment programs. This paper examines national survey data on eleven different program types. It provides a useful and meaningful way of dealing with missing information when evaluating alternative juvenile justice policies and programs. This paper describes the use of Best-Worst-Midpoint Analysis, Threshold Analysis and Convergence Analysis. It is the first application of these evaluation methods to a national study of juvenile offender treatment programs.<p />
