SP - 305 EP - 309 VL - 80 IS - 6 N2 - This article expounds the reasons for automatic explosion in butadiene systems in which oxygen entered and formed butadiene polyperoxide. We verified this by experiments, and analysed the composition of butadiene polyperoxide. The energy of explosion reactions calculated by the method of bond energy supported the results. From our result we suggest means of explosion prevention.
