The primary concern that is dealt with here is how the idea of education in all its emancipator dimensions gets a beating when a particular group of students, i.e. Muslim girl student, is excluded from having a wholesome experience of learning in a sexually, linguistically and multi-culturally segregated madrasas, Urdu-medium schools and same-sex schools.
