The man experienced anaphylactic shock and multisystem organ failure (neurologic, hepatic, renal, and hematologic failure). He was treated with administration of dopamine hydrochloride, antihistaminic agents, corticosteroids, fluid and electrolyte replenishment, peritoneal dialysis, and plasmapheresis. No sequelae have been observed during follow-up.
