The philosophy underlying the training of the Paraprofessional on the program as well as the curriculum contest used in preparing the paraprofessional is described. The Hana Like Home Visitor program services 99 families on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The value of multi-disciplinary intervention is stressed by the authors.
