The ultimate goal is to develop a help-desk service for advice about preventive measures to be taken concerning concrete occupational injury hazards. CBR has been suggested to be a complimentary method to knowledge extraction in order to take direct advantages of large databases for building decision support systems. In this work a database on work injuries is being used to develop a CBR application using a CBR shell-called Recall.
