N2  - From the perspective of contemporary neurobiology, genetics and developmental psychology, the traditional psychiatric diagnostic system DSM-IV is out of date. It is based on a 19th century medical model of disease with an untenable dualistic view of brain, mind and body, a mechanistic concept of causality, and retification of diagnoses.
