N2  - From the proceedings of the ASICS Conference of Science and Medicine in Sport 2008:    Introduction: Despite the popularity of football, little is known about training practices and injuries in older football players. Identification of injuries and contributing factors is vital to develop injury prevention strategies and promote life-long participation. Methodology: This descriptive cross-sectional study surveyed male football players at the 2008 New Zealand Masters Games, using methods selected from a recent football consensus paper.
