N2  - Maxillofacial trauma may cause eye injury besides fractures of the facial skeleton. However, evulsion of the globe is a rare event, and there are only a few reports of true total enucleation of the globes in the literature. We report a 23-year-old man who was a victim of motorcycle accident, with enucleation of the globe, evulsion of the septal cartilage, and midfacial fractures. We reviewed and discussed the literature of traumatic evulsion of the globes in maxillofacial traumas.<p /> <p>Language: en</p>
