Analyzing rhetoric from the National Rifle Association, from Handgun Control, and from other sources, the author dissects various fallacies including: failure of each side to acknowledge the strongest arguments against the side's preferred interpretation of the Second Amendment; unsupportable claims about the meaning of the Miller case; and a wide variety of statistical claims about the cause-and-effect relationship of guns and crime.<p />
