N2  - In "Buyer Beware: Defective Firearms and America’s Unregulated Gun Industry", the Consumer Federation of America argues that firearms in the United States are not subject to safety regulation, and that substantial injury to consumers results. This Article responds to the CFA monograph. The Article argues that accidental deaths from firearms are very low, that firearms are safer and more effectively regulated than many other common consumer products, including automobiles.<p />
