N2  - Water parks are places where accidents may occur and, due to the contact with water, they could result in drownings. The aim of the present study is to analyze aquatic rescues which take place in water parks. This study was carried out with a sample of 79 real interventions recorded at two water parks in Morey's Pier (New Jersey, U.S.). The interventions were carried out on 38 women (48.10%) and 41 men (51.90%), with an average age of 17.29±11.48 and 10.02±5.28 years, respectively. The dependent variable was to know about the rescues carried out in water parks. The independent variables a were: 1) sex and 2) age of the victims. A descriptive and inferential analysis of the study's variables was carried out for the survey, and the Chi-square test was utilized to assess normality and homogeneity while looking for significant differences. The conclusions of the study include: 1) a high number of interventions were carried out on children between seven and 12 years of age, 2) 77.21% of victims were under 20 years old, and 3) there is a higher tendency for an aquatic accident when the victim is a male under the age of seven years or a female older than 20 years.
