TY - JOUR PY - 1983// TI - Diseases of malfunction of body mechanisms. (Heart disease, diabetes, cancer etc.) Risk by occupation, and correlation, male and female, with vehicle travel JO - Medical hypotheses A1 - Robinson, A. A. SP - 415 EP - 429 VL - 11 IS - 4 N2 - It is shown that significant changes in the blood takes place when driving in a motor vehicle. The risk of death in various occupations due to diseases related to body malfunction is calculated and this demonstrates the high risk of workers in transport. A further test of data, the correlation of deaths from all causes, both male and female, with male and female road accident deaths respectively is presented and supports the above-mentioned findings. These correlations also demonstrate surprisingly strong relationships with many diseases and motor vehicle travel. These diseases are normally considered to have no known cause.
