N2  - Reports the findings from a review of 5 years of activity logs and patient records from a rural emergency mental health clinic. Rural patients were found to be similar to urban patients in terms of age, sex, and hour of contact. However, a greater proportion of rural patients were seen for threats of violence or suicide.
