%X The suicide of a client can have a profound effect on both the therapist and the supervisory relationship. This paper addresses some of the known reactions to client suicide and clinical themes as noted in the literature and in the experiences of several therapists. It also provides some beginning considerations and suggestions for the supervisory relationship, as well as notes some directions for research in this area. © 2005 by The Haworth Press, Inc.
