%X Although construction laborers from rural areas (CLRAs) have sacrificed to the Chinese economic growth, their occupational safety and health situation is far from satisfactory due to the bad living and working conditions (L and WCs). Based on the survey for about 3000 CLRAs in Beijing from 2003 to 2005, this paper analyzed the trend of L and WCs, and found that the improvement of L and WCs may improve their performance on Construction Safety. Recommendations of the establishment of relative standards and regulations have been brought out.<p />
