%X Three cases of occult abruption after maternal trauma are presented. In each instance, there was no vaginal bleeding, and abdominal findings were subtle. By maintaining a high index of suspicion and monitoring the fetus continuously, the obstetrician may minimize the fetal complications of placental abruption in traumatized pregnant patients.<p /> <p>Language: en</p>
