%X The locomotive syndrome is a serious health condition that places the elderly at high risk of requiring support and long-term care caused by common age-related musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and sarcopenia. Accumulation of epidemiological evidence is required for the prevention strategy of the locomotive syndrome.
