abstract="We report a 27-year-old man, who became comatose after autopoisoning with a high dose of valnoctamide. He was mechanically ventilated for 12 hours and survived without serious side effects. Valnoctamide blood levels were monitored in order to study the pharmacokinetics of oral overdosing of this drug.
