abstract="To find out the existence of differential characteristics between self-aggressions made during a psychopharmacological treatment and those ones that appear on persons without a treatment, two subgroups of patients who were attended at hospital after an attempted suicide have been compared. One of the subgroups was undergoing psychopharmacological treatment at the moment of the self-aggression. The other subgroup collected people who had never before undergone psychopharmacological treatment. The comparison showed a greater proportion of women, a lesser proportion of youngsters, and a greater use of psychopharmacological drugs for intoxication, in the subgroup under psychopharmacological treatment. Similarly, this same group was observed to present, notably within the feminine population, a higher frequency of psychological illnesses in the family history, a greater incidence of previous self-aggressions, and a greater potential danger in the self-aggression.<p /><p>Language: es</p>",
