abstract="The purpose of the research is to investigate through Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) and argumentation the way in which the philosophical positions that support the idea of suicide based on freedom are expressed. Suicide is one of the contemporary human problems addressed by both science and philosophy. We will use three four corpus of text for the analysis: one from Mainländer, two from Schopenhauer, and we will close with a fragment of the lyrics of the rap Suicide Note, by Porta, which reflects the emotions of a suicide, and which can become a subliminal message for disturbed young people, according to experts on the subject. © 2022, Universidad del Zulia.
