abstract="This research adopts Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS), which is commonly utilized among internationals, and through the method in accordance with the quality of mixed-use residential and commercial building, we can perceive either the situation of fire development or the evaluation on the condition of evacuation for safety. At the same time, in the computer simulation, comparisons are made with the building installed with fire-fighting equipment and its reinforced fire protection facilities, to see how it affects the way people flee for safety and the development of flame. In this article, a case - a mixed-use residential and commercial, building in Taiwan - is selected proceeding FDS that seek for mutual proof and modification. <p />",
