abstract="This article reports on a study undertaken to assess convicted driving while intoxicated (DWI) offenders (n = 549) for alcohol use disorders. The results showed that repeat offenders had twice the rate of both lifetime and current alcohol use disorders compared with first-time offenders. The authors conclude by recommending guidelines for determining alcohol problems in DWI offenders.<p />",
