abstract="Usually considered as an obstacle to symbolization, suicidal acting is shown here, beyond its defensive function, as an appeal to the object and to its function as a mirror. According to the author, the problematic of suicidal acting reveals a flaw in the internal reflexive organization, massively manifesting what is at stake in identity and self-representation. Starting from a clinical case of suicidal acting, the author examines the lack of a reflexive subjectivizing response of the object on a suffering identity. Exploring the potentially self-representative value of the act and of the discourse connected with it leads to a description of the processes underlying identity and the construction of a relation to oneself during development.<p /><p>Language: fr</p>",
