abstract="The increased suicide attacks and other bombings in Iraq has brought urgency to coalition's search for ways to detect explosive devices. The Airforce has been using its EC-130 Compass Call electronic attack aircraft to jam remote triggering devices. The army is operating a small number of Horned Owl C-12 aircraft, which has an earth-penetrating capability to find IEDs and, possibly, hidden weapons caches. There also has been emergency supplementary funding requested to upgrade the Navy and Marine Corps EA-6B Prowler aircraft to broaden the frequency they can jam.<p /><p>Language: en</p>",
