abstract="Hanging is one of the most commonly used methods of committing suicide in almost all parts of the world. In most cases findings are clear-cut with distinct ligature mark around the upper part of the neck and circumstantial evidences suggestive of suicide e.g. availability of suicide note. Rarely we may come across some unusual circumstantial findings that may suggest doubtful nature of the case i.e. homicidal. This paper reports one of those suspicious hanging case in which both the hands of the victim was found entangled with the rope which was tied around the waist. Careful study of the circumstantial evidence, the site of occurrence and autopsy findings eventually proved the case to be suicide.<p /><p>Language: en</p>",
