abstract="The variable connections offered to the interpreter by Kafka's texts can be seen as points in a topological network which, without beginning or end, always point to the next nodal point. This constant distraction allows a space to develop which, free of teleological fixed points, produces a state of suspension. It can be shown that Kafka understands writing as this space and reproduces the state of suspension in his figures.
