abstract="The case is presented of a 13-year-old girl who developed acute renal failure after massive NSAID ingestion in a suicide attempt. Symptomatic management resulted in a favorable clinical outcome. The pathophysiology of the different renal symptoms associated with the intake of these drugs is reviewed.
