abstract="A descriptive research with all subjects committing suicide attempt from Manzanillo Municipality, Granma was carried out in 1997, aiming to characterize the levels of life quality, to value variable behavior intervening on it; the most affectation contexts and to describe hierarchism of values and its relationship with the level of achievements in these individuals. Data collection was performed by means of a test system, desiderative test, assessment scale, survey, value choice and Dembo-Rubestein self-assessment scale and completeness of adapted - modificated phrases in 1996, in order to assess life quality. The percentage analysis was used for the process. Low range predominance of perceived and experienced life quality, affective tone predominance of negative assessment, facing, styles oriented to the emotion control with passivity on the behavior mobilization to the achievement of its aspiration adopting defective self - regulation mechanisms were found, predominating the over - assessment. It is concluded that subjects have low levels of perceived - experienced life quality, the possessed one has a close relationship with the desired one, but not with the expected one by subjects, the mayor affectation of contexts are surrounded to familiar and personal one, appearing experienced insatisfaction regarding to the level of goal expected by them.<p /><p>Language: es</p>",
