abstract="The partnership between the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) and the Canadian Institute of Transportation Engineers (CITE) joined in partnership for Project 208, a project to develop a national bilingual guide to Guide to Neighborhood Traffic Calming. Results are presented on a traffic calming practices and applications in 52 Canadian municipalities. The results of the survey indicate a strong need for national guidelines and a common base of information regarding traffic calming.
