abstract="In order to solve problem of operators' lower cognitive performance caused by unreasonable design of digital information interaction interface，with boron and water supply interface of nuclear power plants' monitoring system as an example，error factors were introduced and CREAM model（cognitive reliability and error analysis method）was used to obtain the interface's error factors and error probability. Then，a visual perception intensity model was established according to theory of visual perception intensity，an optimal scheme of interface layout was resolved by using linear programming algorithm and optimized function layout of it with introduction of error factors was obtained. Finally，correlation effect between error factors，visual perception and interface layout was established. The results show that visual communication index Z of the optimized interface is 794.25，which is 26.98% higher than the original one，therefore improving operators' performance in task information search. © 2020 China Safety Science Journal.
