abstract="The paper was aimed at exploring influence mechanism of group psychological factors on the unsafe behavior intention of miners and effectively reducing occurrence of unsafe behavior. Based on TPB and introduced group factors, HLM7. 0 was used to construct a cross-level model for the effect of group cognition on individual unsafe behavior intention of miners. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 315 members of 25 production teams in three coal enterprises in Shanxi province. It was found that group norms and group efficacy have significant positive effects on group behavior satisfaction, that there is a correlation between behavior attitude and unsafe behavior intention at individual level, that group behavior satisfaction acts positively on individual unsafe behavior intention, and that group behavior satisfaction moderates the relationship between behavior attitude and individual unsafe behavior intention. © 2019 China Safety Science Journal.
