abstract="In cases of frontal impact testing, it is found that chest deceleration can increase as a response of the dummy hand contact with the instrument panel. In this paper, an originally developed detailed FE dummy model is used to reveal this mechanism. The results show that, for the cases with high torque of the dummy arm joints, the chest deceleration tends to increase as the contact force between the dummy hand and the instrument panel increases.<p /><p>Language: ja</p>",
