abstract="The authors regret that the data reported in the article introduction, relating to 2019 Portuguese occupational accidents, weren't accurate. In 2019, Portugal registered a total of 196.202 occupational accidents that were fatal in 104 cases. The incidence rate of nonfatal accidents was 4.105,7/100.000 workers with temporary consequences requiring work absence in 138.813 cases (70.8%).
