abstract="By analyzing the character of highway and methods of highway design evaluation, the idea of building highway simulation system to evaluate highway design is put forward. The multi-agent framework of simulation system is built according to the characters of system. Further more, the simulation agents are divided into response agent, corporation agent and interface agent and their structures are analyzed. The vehicle model based on multi-rigid body, highway scene model based on constraint delaunay triangle net and driver model based on preview follower are built. The simulation results are validated by basic experiments. The simulation system is an efficient tools for highway design evaluation.   <p>Language: en</p>",
