abstract="Combining with the road design norm, considering the dynamic performance of the vehicle and the climatic environment of the road, the road safety in the design drawing stage of the second class highway from Antu to Erdobaihe, Jilin Province, was evaluated by the simulation study of the different road alignments. The essential factor analysis about the effect of the road alignment on the traffic safety was studied. A concept of the mixing of the road alignment norm with the safety standard was suggested to provide a reference for the examination and verification of the road design safety.<p />",
