abstract="Recently, many local governments have implemented various traffic safety policies for the elderly. This paper aims to analyze the impact of regional characteristics on traffic safety by aging stage. The main results are as follows. First, as the aging stage goes up, it is analyzed that the severity of traffic accidents are increasing while the number of traffic accidents are decreasing. In addition, the factors affecting the number and severity of traffic accidents are judged to not overlap, and are assessed to change as the aging stage goes up. Second, ten generalized linear regression models which are all statistically significant are developed. Third, regional characteristic indicators are estimated to have a significant impact on traffic accidents. Finally, the differentiated traffic safety policies are required for each aging stage. Increase of crosswalk right-side walking rate and management of traffic volume in 'aging society', increase of turn signal usage rate and expansion of general hospital beds in 'aged society', and enforcements of stop line conform and other violations in 'super-aged society' are evaluated to be vital to the policies.    최근 각 지역에서는 고령자 교통안전을 위한 다양한 정책이 시행되고 있다. 이 연구는 고령화 단계별 지역 특성이 교통안전에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고령화 단계가 상승할수록 사고 발생은 감소하는 반면 사고 심각성은 증가하는 것으로 분석된다. 또한 교통사고에 영향을 미치는 요인은 고령화 단계별로 변화하는 것으로 평가된다. 둘째, 통계적으로 유의한 총 10개의 일반화선형모형이 개발된다. 셋째, 교통문화지수를 비롯한 지역 특성지표는 교통사고에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 평가된다. 마지막으로 고령화 단계별 차별적인 교통안전 정책이 요구된다. 고령화사회에서는 횡단보도우측통행률의 제고와 출퇴근 교통량 집중 지점에 대한 관리, 고령사회에서는 방향지시등점등률의 제고와 상급 의료기관의 확충, 그리고 초고령사회에서는 횡단보도정지선준수율의 제고와 교통단속이 필요할 것으로 평가된다.  키워드 고령화 단계 일반화선형모형 거시적 연구 지역 특성 교통문화   Keywords aging stage generalized linear model macroscopic perspective regional characteristic traffic culture<p /> <p>Language: ko</p>",
