abstract="Unconnected data silos make it difficult to view a patient's accident and emergency case in a comprehensive way, i.e. across all sectors. This includes the emergency medical services (EMS), medical data in a hospital's electronic health record (EHR) as well as event data recorders (EDRs) collecting information about the circumstances of the accident and emergency event.
