abstract="Restraint systems - shoulder harness for driver & right-front passenger, lap belts for other passengers; lap belts for all occupants, air bag for all occupants; and air bag and lap belt for all occupants - are compared for: (1) potential human lives saved in 1969; and (2) potential baboon and human head-on crashes survived dependent on the type of restraint system used.
