abstract="The present study examined the internal consistency and factorial structure of the Sexual Addiction Screening Test using samples not examined in previous psychometric research. The internal consistency of the items was high and analyses revealed that the majority of the variance (38.40%) could be accounted for by one factor. This single factor had clusters of items that were consistent with the essential features characteristic of sexual addiction. Taken together, these results support the psychometric integrity of the Sexual Addiction Screening Test and support previous and future studies conducted on this measure with sexual offenders and low socio-economic respondents.<p /><p>Language: en</p>",
