abstract="Types of living arrangements most commonly used by divorced families are described in terms of their psychological consequences for adolescents. A case is presented in which arrangements preventing normal adolescent development in a 15-yr-old girl were altered to allow for growth. Custody, visitation, and child support provisions are seen as interrelated but separable factors that can be altered only by considering their effects as part of an arrangement for living. <p></p>",
