abstract="The notion of psychological driver behaviour observation is defined and its development is outlined. The results of driving observations with elderly subjects are summarized and compared to the performance of younger experienced drivers. Relations between the driving performance of older subjects and various other variables such as psychometric testing, accident involvement, personality are shown.
