abstract="
Carbon monoxide (CO) nicknamed "Silent killer" by the Anglo-Saxons is the leading cause of death by accidental or deliberate poisoning in Europe and the United States. In Morocco, the poison control center collected between 1991 and 2008, 12 976 cases of carbon monoxide poisoning which 98.7% were accidental. This intoxication is very exceptionally complicated by compartment syndrome which may contribute to some deterioration of the functional and life-threatening when it is ignored or overlooked by other neurological symptoms in particular. We report the case of a night watchman who presented a particular compartment syndrome by its location (arm) during a CO poisoning which evolved favorably.

Language: fr
",
