abstract="1. A case of fatal Amanita phalloides poisoning in a 14-year-old boy is described. 2. The patient presented severe acute liver dysfunction, disseminated intravascular coagulation and refractory hypoxaemia, and died on the 9th day after mushroom ingestion. 3.
